The mission of WSF requires keeping strict schedules to meet customer confidence. Meeting the uptime requirements on large, complex vessels requires large amounts of material and spare parts. Parts inventories are kept in as many as 4 primary locations, any one of which may be called upon to deliver or locate a critical spare in a matter of minutes to keep a vessel in-service. (Down time on large passenger ferries during the prime summer season can result in miles of fuming tourists, a black eye WSF rarely receives).

To meet the unique and demanding inventory requirements of the fleet, an extensive MRP spare parts management and ordering system will manage parts on vessels, at Eagle Harbor and at 2 warehouse locations. Integration, support and training are the responsibility of Four Winds Group. Experienced, knowledgeable materials management professional in the industry provides design on the MRP.
