Background

We were retained to provide a number of services that included a survey of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems to create a standardized inventory of all maintained components at each tunnel facility; determination of service points; manufacturer's recommended maintenance intervals and tools required for each maintenance item; compilation of warranty information on all maintained components to allow tracking of these warranties; streamlining of data entry accomplished via bar-coding and hand-held computers; and the inventory and recording of all spare parts, special tools and maintenance materials from the Phase I construction of the tunnel.
